Santa's Sweets - Gift or DisplayI had so much fun making this little Sweet  sign for a friend who’s just as sweet as can be! 🍭 This project took me just 10 minutes (Terry actually timed me! 😄) — and I love how it turned out.

🖌️ Supplies I Used

You can find all of these on my Chalk Couture website

Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Paint your surface
I started by painting my 5×7 wood rectangle with Bright White Chalk Paste. I love the smooth finish and those pretty rounded corners!

2️⃣ Lightly sand the edges
Once the paste was dry, I gently sanded the edges to give it a polished look.

3️⃣ Prep your stencil
Before placing your stencil, “fuzz” it by gently rubbing it across a Fuzzing Cloth. This reduces stickiness so it removes cleanly later.

4️⃣ Apply your Chalk Paste
I used the Santa’s Sweets Transfer and applied Cherry Chalk Paste with a small squeegee, working it smoothly across the stencil.

5️⃣ Reveal the magic!
Gently lift the stencil from the top — and just like that, you’ve got a beautiful, festive sign! 🎄

❤️ The Finished Look

I’m thrilled with how this piece turned out — festive, vintage, and perfectly handmade. It’s a quick and easy holiday gift idea for friends, neighbors, or anyone who loves something made with love.

You can create your own version with any 5×7 stencil — just pick one that speaks to you and give it a try!
