+ How many guests at each table?

Plan on tables of 6.

+ What about lighting?

The conference center is quite large with both overhead and natural lighting. We recommend you bring a battery operated lamp if you think you will require more lighting.  There will be power towers at each table, however there will be no extension cords allowed at any table for safety reasons.

If you do not have a battery operated light, you can visit Amazon here for some ideas.
Please remember to bring extra batteries!

+ What about transportation

+ Smalls Exchange?
The Smalls Exchange is a popular event at our retreats and it is completely optional! If you want to participate, stitch and fully finish, a design measuring 5″ x 5″ or less. Be sure to wrap it in pretty paper or a nice gift bag. It’s up to you if you want to have the wrapping paper hint at the contents. You can either include your name, or not.  We will do a parade following the event and take photos!

We ask that you do not include any other items in the Smalls Exchange to honor and respect other attendees who may not have been able to afford extra goodies. You are free to give gifts to your tablemates or other attendees, but please refrain from including them in the Smalls Exchange. Thanks so much!

+ FlossToss?

Throughout the weekend we will have a number of games you can participate in. For the FlossToss game, please bring 6 skeins of DMC cotton embroidery floss.

+ Fabulous Finishes?
Now is the time to show off your Fabulous Finishes!  We will have a contest and guests will vote on their favorites!

+ Fabulous Freebies?
Do you have some much loved charts you would like to share with a friend? Bring them along and share them on our Fabulous Freebies table!

+ Anabella's Attic & Vendor Shopping?

We will have a Vendor Marketplace as well as Anabella’s Pop Up shop. Hours to be determined.

+ Retreat Etiquette?

Here are some things to keep in mind:

  • Dress comfortably but refrain from tee shirts that may offend other attendees ie: political statements etc. (Yep! It’s been a thing)

  • You will be sharing a table with other guests. Please be mindful of your area so that you don’t encroach into your neighbors space. Place items not in use under the table or under your chair. For safety reasons, all aisles must be kept clear at all times. (Yep! Folks have fallen despite our best efforts)

  • No selling, self-promoting, passing out literature, or taking surveys from our guests. You are welcome to become a vendor if you would like to promote your hand-made goods, shop, website or upcoming event. Anyone found in violation during the event will be asked to leave. (Yep! Believe it or not this happens often.)

  • Bring your smiling face and positive attitude and let’s enjoy a wonderful weekend together!

+ Charitable Donation?

Anabella’s gives back to each community where we host an event, and children in the foster care system are very close to our hearts. If you’re so inclined, please bring an unwrapped book for a child ages 0–18. These books will be donated to the Foster Care program in Pawhuska or Osage County.

Let’s put a smile on the faces of as many children as possible who are currently waiting for their forever family!

+ What about meals?
