Peace on Earth Handmade Card and Tag | Elayne Forgie
The holidays are the perfect time to pause, create, and share something meaningful. This week, I designed a Peace on Earth handmade card and coordinating tag — simple, elegant projects that capture the calm and beauty of the season.
If you love card making or paper crafting, this design is one to add to your creative list. The Peace on Earth collection from the Stampin’ Up!® Holiday Mini Catalog includes soft colors, embossed textures, and gentle metallic accents that make every handmade card feel peaceful and bright.
For this project, I combined Night of Navy, Smoky Slate, and Very Vanilla cardstock with a hint of silver glimmer paper for just the right amount of sparkle. The embossed background adds subtle dimension, while the dove die-cut serves as a graceful symbol of peace. Together, they create a timeless design that works beautifully for Christmas or winter greetings.
✂️ Handmade Details
The coordinating tag was created from leftover cardstock and ribbon — a simple reminder that even the smallest scraps can become something special. Adding a handmade tag to a gift or treat box makes your holiday wrapping extra personal and memorable.
Creating cards like this Peace on Earth handmade card reminds me that crafting isn’t just about making something pretty — it’s about expressing thoughtfulness and creativity. Each handmade detail carries a little piece of the heart.
