Hello From Liz Mathews Quaker Medallion ~ 2025 Nashville Needlework Market Pre-Order

This piece turned out just as beautifully as I’d envisioned it in my head, late one night trying to fall asleep, which (trust me) doesn’t always happen! This is such a bold statement piece due to both the heavy Quaker style alphabet and the eye catching dimensional motif which is stitched on a contrasting colored fabric and affixed on top of the alphabet after stitching. I used vintage straight pins to simply mount the motif to the backing but there are many options (bows, buttons, glue).

Included in the chart pack you will have two different medallion options to choose from.

Fabric: 36 count Cream and Sugar linen (background) and Affogato linen (medallion) by Fiber on a Whim
Thread: Dinky Dyes Black Coral and Nutwood
(using one strand of Black Coral on 36 count fabric required the entirety of one whole skein)
