Summer’s Swan – This design was inspired by the antique/vintage concrete swan planters. I loved these as a child and found the swan sketch while thumbing through an old sketch pad. It was time to chart the swan! I love it and it brings back warm memories of years gone by. I plan on making this a small seasonal series, 3 more to follow.

Stitch count – 78 wide x 91 high.

Finished size – 3 7/8″ x 4 1/2″.

Linen – 40 count, color – Vintage Country Mocha

Flosses: DMC – 524, 834, 613. WDW – 1092 Grits, 1105 Arrowhead, 1230, 1259 Pamlico, 2211 Olive, 2240 Red Rocks. CC – Blue Corn, Barn Door, Hickory Sticks, Root Beer Float, Ye Old Gold. GAST – 7045 Mountain Mist, 7080 Endive.

Stitches used: Cross Stitch, Long Straight Stitch, Four-Sided Stitch, and Lazy Daisy Stitch
