There are some collections that come together quickly, and then there are those that seem to grow one idea at a time until you suddenly realize they’ve become something much bigger than you originally imagined. The Sunflower Collection has definitely been the second kind.
It all began with a handful of cross stitch designs inspired by one of my favorite flowers. I’ve always loved sunflowers. They remind me of summer afternoons, country gardens, fresh flowers in an old pitcher, and the simple happiness that comes from slowing down long enough to enjoy the season.
With fall just around the corner, as I continued creating, I found myself asking, “What else would I enjoy using with these designs?” Before long, the collection had grown beyond cross stitch. I wanted it to become a collection that celebrated creativity in all its forms—stitching, coloring, journaling, decorating your home, and preserving the little moments that make a season special.
Today, I’m so happy to finally share the finished collection with you.
The Sunflower Collection includes five coordinating printed cross stitch charts that can be stitched individually or displayed together. For those who enjoy finishing their stitching into home décor, I’ve also created the Make Finishing Fun™ Mini Garden Sign Kit. My hope is that it takes some of the mystery out of finishing and gives you the confidence to turn your stitching into something you’ll proudly display in your home.
The collection also includes the Sunflowers & Simple Living Coloring Book, the Sunflower Homestead Creative Living Collection filled to the brim with papers, stationery, recipe cards and creative extras, and the August Sunflower Cottage Journal, a place to capture your thoughts, projects and favorite moments throughout the month. As a little extra, the Creative Living Collection also includes a set of coordinating sunflower desktop wallpapers.
One of the things I enjoyed most while creating this collection was making sure everything worked together. Whether you’re stitching one of the designs, writing in your journal, printing recipe cards, or coloring on a quiet afternoon, each piece was designed to feel like it belongs to the same cozy sunflower season.
I hope you’ll spend a little time looking through everything that’s been added. If something catches your eye, I’d love for you to click through and learn more about it. Every design, page, and project was created right here in my studio, and I truly hope they bring as much enjoyment to your home as they brought to mine while I was creating them.
As always, thank you for supporting my small business. Your encouragement, your kind messages, and the projects you share with me mean more than you know. I never take for granted that you choose to spend your time creating something I’ve designed, and I’m so grateful that you’ve allowed Anabella’s to be part of your stitching journey for so many years.
Welcome to the Sunflower Collection. I hope you enjoy every bit of it.
